Welcome

General scholarships are awarded in two cycles each year. The deadlines are June 30 (for Fall terms) and Dec. 31 (for Winter and Spring terms). Awards typically range from $250 to $1,000, depending upon need and merit. 

You can download your application here.  After you have completed it, you can send it as an attachment to AISF.SoCal@gmail.com or send a paper copy to the address listed at the bottom of this page. 

The following items are required for your application:

• Completed Application
• Three letters of recommendation. At least one letter should address your involvement with the American Indian community.
• Proof of enrollment at a college or university in Southern California.
• Your most recent transcripts (unofficial transcripts are accepted)
• Proof of tribal enrollment or descent
• One-page essay discussing your accomplishments, the challenges you may have faced, and your ambitions for the future.
